Dr Charlotte Lee is our Clinical Lead here at The Dental Works Kids. Since graduating with merit in 2013, she has built a broad career across Yorkshire and Essex, gaining experience in emergency dental care, NHS, and private practice — giving her a well-rounded understanding of the many ways families access dental care.

Charlotte’s love for working with children has only deepened since becoming a mum to her three children herself. Married to Jon, who is also a dentist, caring for smiles really is a family affair. Working in general practice in Essex, Charlotte saw how hard it can be for children to access the right dental care at the right time — the worry families face with long waits, repeated infections, and ongoing discomfort for their little ones. That’s exactly why she’s committed to making children’s dental care more accessible, timely, and far less daunting.

Charlotte believes great dental care for children should be safe, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable, and her vision is to create an environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and even have fun along the way. She holds sedation accreditation to support children who find dental visits particularly difficult, ensuring no child misses out on the care they need. She is a proud member of the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry and is currently working towards a Master’s programme, with a Special Interest in Paediatric Dentistry and ambitions to become a registered specialist.
